With the launch of the RTX 4000 series, there was a lot of hype. The RTX 4090 leads the way with great performance improvements and additional features. But then came the two 4080s and one was relaunched to become the 4070 Ti. So is the RTX 4070 Ti any good?
As mentioned earlier, the card initially came as the 12 GB model of the 4080. But with pushback and confusion and even high price points, it was withdrawn. So then it came out as the RTX 4070 Ti. But with the completely different GPU and lower specs, it was on its own.
So we look at what it offers and the performance it delivers. With a look at whether it is worth the price.

The three-slot graphics card is an overclocked version of the card. It has a 5% higher boost clock than the standard version and so can offer even better performance than the other choices.
It comes in a larger size than standard. With a high-quality construction and a tough design, it stands out from the crowd. Along with little RGB for those who like to keep it clean. The other difference also comes from one extra HDMI connector.

The card is a very capable GPU, with great performance across the board and resolution wise. Doesn’t stutter on the highest settings.
Though you might consider calling it back with higher resolutions and ray tracing. But that’s where DLSS and upscaling come in handy, or if you’re just scaling back some settings.
But even so, it’s still a great option for getting what you need. Though that may change depending on price and what alternatives you can get for the same performance.
RTX 4070 Ti plastic
The 3DMark performance gives a good overview of the card’s capabilities. And the benchmarks provide a great comparison.
The 4070 Ti ranks 5th behind the 7900 XT and 4080. But still above the offerings of the previous generations, so there are plenty of options.
Is the RTX 4070 Ti any good?
Overall, the 4070 Ti is a good, powerful, and great graphics card. With the possibility of getting great performance there. however, the price is where it falls behind.
Because the cost is much higher than the previous generation, which is unusual even with the profit. Especially since that’s for the suggested retail price of a non-existent Founder’s Edition that the custom maps can’t make it to.
Overall, the ASUS TUF Pick is a good card to pick. With improved performance and quality, so it’s a great model choice.
