Samsung has introduced some new tools that users might like when it comes to staying mobile but need to photograph or capture the world around them.
Roland Quandt of WinFuture spotted two new add-on camera accessories on Samsung’s UK store can grab consumers for the Gadget Case of the Galaxy S23 series (via The Verge). While there are quite a few great Galaxy S23 cases out there, the Gadget Case has a modular tool that allows it to attach other stands and tripods to the phone, and the company has some pretty unique accessories to go with it.
The first new accessory is the Slim Tripod Stand that folds flat against the device and then unfolds easily. Samsung designed the legs of this small phone tripod with aluminum to ensure your phone remains stable on any given surface. This new tripod can also be rotated using the given hinge structure, allowing users to shoot or shoot vertically or horizontally as needed.
Samsung also shows off the camera accessory held horizontally with the folding legs together, acting as a hand grip for video capture.
The UK store lists the Slim Tripod Stand for £34, which is about $41.
The second accessory, the camera grip stand, comes with its own remote shutter button. This particular tool seems to excel in the fact that you can put your phone down at a distance, supported by the accessory, and use it for photos or videos using the Bluetooth shutter remote.
Consumers can use the grip stand to hold their Galaxy S23 Ultra or any other S23 series phone horizontally or vertically in their hands. In addition, the accessory offers its own automatic folding tripod once pulled out of the stand. This allows users to get a little more creative as they rotate their phones for more interesting angles.
Samsung’s compact camera grip stand has no offer price in the UK store. However, The Verge was able to find the product in its store in Hong Kong for a converted price of about $45.
So far, the new camera accessories are currently not available in the US Samsung store. But we expect (read: hope) that Samsung will introduce the new camera accessory products there in the near future.
